Crossover Crew is a public art and urban design project founded by artist Marco Zecchinato and architect Aljoša Marković, born from the encounter between visual languages, architectural design and hands-on practice. With a multidisciplinary background, the collective works on urban regeneration through ground-based street art, painted playgrounds, murals and spatial devices that rethink how people experience and move through the city.
Crossover Crew intervenes on sports courts, courtyards, squares and shared spaces, transforming them into distinctive and contemporary places in dialogue with local communities, schools, associations and public institutions. Each project grows out of a close reading of the context and the people who inhabit it, creating surfaces that invite play, gathering and participation, and bringing value and visibility back to spaces often perceived as marginal.
By bringing together public art, urban design and architecture, Crossover Crew works to give spaces a clear and memorable identity, strengthening the sense of belonging for those who use them every day. Their interventions go beyond aesthetics, aiming to create practical, durable and welcoming surfaces where ground painting becomes a tool for wayfinding, play and storytelling rooted in the territory.
